Crock-Pot Spaghetti Sauce

Picture
 (CROCKPOT SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
1 medium onion, chopped fine
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 (28 oz.) cans diced tomatoes, with juice
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
5 garlic cloves, pressed
2 bay leaves
4 tsp. dried oregano
4 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried thyme
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
Brown meats and onions in a skillet and drain well.  Transfer to your crock-pot.  Add all the remaining ingredients (except the Parmesan cheese) and mix well.  Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.  Just before servicing, stir in the Parmesan cheese.  Serve over hot spaghetti noodles.

Note:  This will make a thick sauce.  If you want your sauce a bit thinner, simply add another can of tomato sauce.  Keep in mind, if you're using this sauce for lasagna, you want your sauce thick.
