Marlene's Pumpkin Bread

MARLENE'S PUMPKIN BREAD
3-1/3 c. all-purpose flour
3 c. white sugar
2 c. pumpkin puree (I use Libby's canned puree)
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. water
4 eggs
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
Instructions
  • Mix all dry ingredients together in one bowl.
  • Mix all wet ingredients together in one bowl.
  • Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour, or until a knife when inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool slightly in pan, before removing.
  • Wrap in foil and refrigerate.
