Marlene's Bourbon Balls

2 c. fine vanilla wafer crumbs
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1/4 c. cocoa
3 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
6 Tbsp. dark whiskey
Dash of salt

Instructions

• Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. 
  
• Roll into balls, using about 2 teaspoons of the mixture for each ball.
  
• Store in covered containers for several days before serving.
  
• Roll the candies in more sifted powdered sugar, cocoa or instant chocolate flavor mix.
  
• Makes about 50 balls.
