Crystal Shrimp
This was one of our families favorite shrimp dishes from a Chinese Restaurant in Monument, Colorado. You prepare your shrimp, by deep frying it (then just before serving), pour over it this white creamy sauce. It's so delicious. We would order this every time we got take-out from the restaurant.
CRYSTAL SHRIMP For Shrimp Shrimp, peeled and deveined, leave the tail intact (for Large Shrimp (31/35 count) = 12-13 shrimp) (for Medium Shrimp (41/50 count)= 15-16 shrimp) 1 tsp. lime juice 1 tsp. salt 1 egg white 2 c. corn starch oil for deep frying Crystal Shrimp Sauce 8 Tbsp. mayonnaise 4 Tbsp. sweet condensed milk 2 tsp. lime juice 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seed (optional) |
