CAST IRON CHEFS - Colorado
August 7, 2013, our great-grandmother Clarice Robalee Snyder passed away. Robbie was well known for her fresh baked pies, which the family dearly loved. Behind our/her house was several apple trees, that she would gather apples from and make these delicious treats. So in her honor, the kids and I decided to spend every August 7th, making something with apples in it. It's our families way, of keeping her memory alive. It's something fun for us to do together as a family, and it has certainly brought us closer over the years.
