Cast Iron Chef - Romen

Romen's love for cooking, started when he was about six months old.  My dad would come upstairs (in the early morning hours) and hand me over to Nani (aka Mama Bear), so she could get some more sleep (Nani being the early bird in the family).  Nani would put on a pot of coffee and usually bake or cook something for the family to eat when they got up.  Pretty soon she started including us in what she was doing.  This kept us entertained (until everyone got up) and we loved being part of the experience.  In time, we continued to cook, and now Nani just supervises and takes the pictures.  She treats us like we're professional chefs (even though we're not), by giving us hats, aprons and our own cooking spoon.  Sometimes we cook and it turns out great, and sometimes we cook and it turns out bad, but that's all part of the experience Nani says.
